Matthew 25:31
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne.
Let your heart imagine that long-awaited day: the Son of Man, once humbled and familiar with sorrow, returning to earth in a radiance brighter than any eye has seen (Matthew 25:31). The same Jesus who walked dusty roads and was rejected for our sake will come again—not in hidden suffering, but in unmistakable glory. The splendor that was veiled in His earthly life will shine unhindered as He returns, accompanied by multitudes of holy angels, every moment pulsating with majesty and justice.
This is the moment when Jesus will sit upon His throne of glory—a seat not fashioned by human hands but established from eternity by the Father. He comes not just as Savior, but as the righteous Judge, possessing all authority, all wisdom, and the full honor due God Himself (Philippians 2:9–11). No detail will be missed, no person overlooked. Every angel stands at His side, ready to carry out His commands, lending wonder and might to this final scene. Their presence marks the seriousness and the splendor of what is about to take place: every soul gathered, every life revealed.
Take comfort that this glorious Judge is still the Son of Man—He knows frailty, temptation, and what it feels like to be misunderstood (Hebrews 4:15). Yet unlike any earthly court, here perfect justice and perfect mercy join hands. For every believer, what matters most is not status, power, or reputation, but belonging to Christ, who stands both as Judge and Redeemer.
As you look forward, let this promised Day steady your resolve and stir your hope. The throne of Christ is not far off; it is the anchor of every true hope and the assurance that, at last, all will be set right by the one who loves perfectly and reigns eternally.
