Isaiah 40:28
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary; His understanding is beyond searching out.
Pause and let this ancient question wash over your heart: “Have you not known? Have you not heard?” Sometimes discouragement looms, and doubts whisper that God has grown weary or lost sight of your needs. Yet the witness of history, Scripture, and all those who have trusted God says otherwise: the Lord is everlasting—He is your Creator, the Maker of the earth’s farthest reaches, the God who never grows tired or faint (Isaiah 40:28).
Our lives are marked by weakness and weariness, but God is never burdened by the needs of His people. The hands that crafted oceans and mountain peaks never tremble from exhaustion. The mind that fashioned galaxies holds every detail of your life and never loses wisdom or focus (Psalm 121:3–4). There is no limit to His understanding—He knows your situation perfectly. No burden drains His strength, and no mystery confounds His knowledge.
Take comfort: even when you feel forgotten, you are held by the Ancient of Days—unchangeable, attentive, always able to help. In every trial and shadow, His wisdom is deeper than any problem; His power sustains those who wait on Him; His purposes stretch further than we can imagine (Romans 11:33–36). Let these truths steady your heart and renew your trust, for the God who holds everything together will surely carry you, too.
